Manage retention samples for each batch of reagents. Discarding of expired retention samples.

Ability to manage assigned tasks and projects

Inspect and release incoming raw materials for production use.

Approve labels for every batch produced.

Perform revision of the RMS’s as needed.

Follow process guidelines and expedite quality concerns to management

Experience with food safety (e.g., AIB certification, operations prerequisite programs, UP lights, etc.)

Experience with audit compliance (e.g., monitoring, documentation, variance explanation, etc.)

Experience with product changeovers (e.g., CIP, flavor changes, sanitizing, setting formulas, etc.)

Experience operating testing instruments (e.g., Carbo Qc, HPLC, Densitometers, Water Testing, etc.)

Experience following standards of operations (SOPs) (e.g., following procedures, etc.)

Experience in related field preferred, with knowledge and experience with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

Help maintain laboratory inventory of chemicals, reagents, consumables, and willing to share laboratory cleaning and safety responsibilities.

Follows detailed protocols and uses knowledge of basic laboratory procedures.

Willingness and demonstrated ability to learn and develop instrument-related skills.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Associate's or bachelor's degree in scientific field preferred.

Background in molecular biology is preferred with single/multichannel pipetting and PCR experience

Support the ISO Management Systems and Safety Systems

Create, maintain, and update standard operating procedures for Quality Department to meet ISO requirements

A high school diploma or comparable certification (e.g. GED)

Work or course work laboratory experience

Experience in a manufacturing environment

Ensure all tests are completed and results meet all specifications before going to the next production process
