Computer Drafting Technician I Jobs in Texas

Communicate effectively to direct management and can speak to progress of a project at any given time

Performs other duties as assigned,which are reasonably within the scope of the responsibilities of this job classification

Knowledge of proprietary software,AutoCAD, and Visio a plus

Experience in wireless, telecom, technology, and electronics a plus

Requires excellent communication and customer service skills

Knowledge of 2-D piping isometric drawings, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and office- related technical skills are necessary

Entry level, on-site contract position (3-4 months) in a Pasadena area refinery, with potential for permanent employment

Must possess or be able to obtain TWIC card immediately

Must be highly detail-oriented and organized

Must pass drug/alcohol screen and hair follicle test

Associate's Degree or Certificate in Drafting highly preferred

· 5+ years relevant engineering experience (Production engineering preferred)

· Test and analysis experience including design of test plans, instrumentation usage and failure analysis

· Product knowledge and understanding materials

Design, implement and test new products to achieve desired features and specifications

Participate in mechanical product design including product specifications, material selection, CAD design and detailed product drawings

Review existing products and make amendments to improve design, performance and efficiency.
