Lean manufacturing (5S) knowledge and experience

Strong mathematical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Basic computer experience

1+ years of experience working in a fabrication, manufacturing (assembly), or testing role

Experience with pressure/temperature/flow measurement devices, and mechanical/electrical systems

3+ years of aerospace component testing experience

Deliver state-of-the-art, high-quality components for Starship and Super Heavy

Strong communication and project management skills.

Ownership of polymer materials and processes to meet the functional and manufacturing requirements of Tesla’s cell mechanical parts.

Implement standard tests and/or develop boutique tests to characterize unique materials requirements (e.g., electrochemical compatibility, permeability, stress-relaxation, etc.)

Experience with polymers as related to a part’s functionality and Design for Manufacturability

Experience with injection molding processes and tooling
