Detailed Job Description The Community School Director is responsible for the overall management and operation of the community school. This includes developing and implementing a comprehensive school improvement plan, managing the school budget, and ensuring that the school meets all applicable standards and regulations. The Director is also responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with families, community partners, and other stakeholders. The Director must ensure that the school is providing a safe and supportive learning environment for all students and that the school is meeting the needs of its students and the community. The Director is responsible for hiring, training, and supervising school staff, as well as developing and implementing professional development plans for staff. The Director is also responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures for the school and ensuring that all staff are following them. The Director must also ensure that the school is meeting all applicable standards and regulations. Skill Requirements The Community School Director must have strong leadership and management skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The Director must also have strong organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders. Qualifications The Community School Director must have a bachelor’s degree in education, administration, or a related field. The Director must also have at least five years of experience in school administration or a related field. Knowledge The Community School Director must have knowledge of educational theory and practice, as well as knowledge of school administration and management. The Director must also have knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, as well as knowledge of community resources and services. Experience The Community School Director must have at least five years of experience in school administration or a related field.
