Community Outreach And Communications Coordinator Jobs in Texas

Strong organizational and project management skills to effectively plan, execute, and oversee communication and outreach across multiple projects within specified timelines.

Collaborate with Community Engagement Project Managers to fortify processes, workflow, and capacity for their programs.

Background in community outreach, with experience in creating outreach and engagement plans, interfacing with diverse community stakeholders and audiences.

Experience working on and directing communication, outreach, and engagement for capital projects.

Proven collaboration experience with Black, Indigenous, and People of Color, immigrant, refugee, and/or English as a second language communities.

Experience working in King County or other public sector/government positions.

Coordinates educational, cultural, or recreational services to the community.

Provides education/training resources or assistance with community programs through calls, distribution of surveys, scheduling of appointments, or participation in meetings.

Two (2) years related experience is required.

Organizes and participates in community forums, health fairs, conferences and related training throughout the region.

Maintains accurate and timely documentation of activities and community outreach data for reporting/auditing purposes and assists with monitoring program expenses.

Coordinates implementation of healthcare outreach efforts for designated region and maintains current point of contact database for hospitals and healthcare facilities.
