Collections Admin Associate Jobs

Basic knowledge of collections management and preventive conservation concepts

Enter data and assist with clerical tasks for the Collections Management team using The Museum System software and analog files

Experience with art, antiques, furniture, or decorative arts collections care preferred or demonstration of same skill set

Monitor the collection for changes in condition and report them to Manager

Maintain galleries and storerooms for the purpose of collections care and positive visitor experience

Monitor gallery conditions for temperature, pests, lighting, and proper functioning of equipment and report any issues to Manager

2+ years of either sales and use tax compliance experience or financial accounting and auditing experience

Experience working with Google workspace, Excel, Stripe, or Quickbooks experience

Sales tax recoupment and outreach to customers about sales tax owed, including back taxes

Answering customer questions about sales tax invoices and fees due

Keep documentation up to date with current status of each customer

Available to work remotely, full-time M-F

Outstanding customer communication and organizational skills

Create, and upload for distribution, Right To Cure notices to customers, in compliance with state laws

Process invoices related to repossession and remarketing activities, ensuring our partner vendors are paid in a timely manner

Create, and upload for distribution, required post-repossession notices to customers

Coordinate voluntary surrender of automotive collateral recovery after required documents are received
