Previous 6 months of experience in long-term care is a plus.

Must hold a current Certified Medication Technician certificate in accordance with laws of the state.

High School diploma or equivalent required.

Must have understanding of terms used in medication administration.

Exceptional written and oral communication skills

Current 2 step TB results & CPR

Reliable transportation to/from work sites (including functionality, fuel and accessibility)

Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification is required.

Knowledgeable in computer applications such as: Microsoft Office & electronic health records (EHR) systems

P rovide direct resident care services including medicine distribution to residents. Follow individualized plan of care for all residents.

Perform resident evaluations as required by the state standards/regulations and facility policy, under the direction of the Director of Wellness.

Observe residents for change in condition and report any changes immediately to supervisor and/or the Executive Director.
