Cloud Operations Security Engineer Jobs in Arkansas

• Knowledge of web and application server management (Nginx, Tomcat, NodeJS).

Cloud certification, preferably AWS, a plus

1-2 years of experience in enterprise scale Linux Administration

1-2 years hands-on operational experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)

 Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

 Experience with cloud-native security monitoring and incident response.

 Cloud certification such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty or Azure Security Engineer

 Familiarity with cloud security tools and services (e.g., IAM, WAF, Security Groups).

 Understanding of network security, encryption, and secure data storage.

Offer analysis and reporting on the cloud services currently being used by the House, covering high-risk services, data utilisation, and threats

Bachelor’s degree in a related field with (5) years of experience in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field

Knowledge of other common industry cyber security standards and organizational best practices

3-5 years of experience implementing or supporting cloud-based cyber security

Awareness of current cyber security threats and vulnerabilities

Provide technical support for responding to and implementing recommendations of the Office of Inspector General and Internal Controls/Internal Audit

·Strong experience in vulnerability management & risk assessment

·Encryption theory & key management (PKI)

·Develop tools to improve cloud specific anomaly detection requirements

·Strong experience in implementing CIS, NIST & other benchmarks

·Multi-Cloud security experience working in the Financial industry

·Cloud certifications in Azure, AWS & GCP is preferred.

Experience with security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability management.

Evaluate and implement cloud security controls to meet compliance requirements.

Monitor and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities in the cloud environment.

5+ years of experience in cloud security engineering.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, along with a strong understanding of cloud computing and cloud security principles.

Design and implement secure cloud solutions for our organization.
