Participates in the determination of eligible candidates for study participation, assuring participants fulfill eligibility requirements
With supervision, develops and manages study budgets, monitoring efficient invoicing and taking appropriate action to maintain clinical trial billing compliance
Participates in and maintains certifications, licensure and credentialing as required by Vanderbilt, the department and Sponsor
Furthers knowledge base by attending a Basic Research 101 within first three months of employment date

Overview:

The Clinical Scientist Translational Lead is responsible for leading the development of clinical strategies to support the translation of research findings into clinical practice. This includes developing clinical protocols, designing clinical trials, and providing clinical expertise to support the development of new treatments. The Clinical Scientist Translational Lead will also be responsible for providing guidance and support to other clinical scientists and medical professionals.

Detailed Job Description:

The Clinical Scientist Translational Lead will be responsible for leading the development of clinical strategies to support the translation of research findings into clinical practice. This includes developing clinical protocols, designing clinical trials, and providing clinical expertise to support the development of new treatments. The Clinical Scientist Translational Lead will also be responsible for providing guidance and support to other clinical scientists and medical professionals. The Clinical Scientist Translational Lead will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Developing clinical protocols and clinical trial designs
• Developing and implementing clinical strategies to support the translation of research findings into clinical practice
• Providing clinical expertise to support the development of new treatments
• Collaborating with other clinical scientists and medical professionals to ensure the successful implementation of clinical strategies
• Monitoring and evaluating clinical trial results
• Preparing reports and presentations on clinical trial results
