Clinical Pathology Assistants (CPAs) are responsible for providing support to clinical pathologists in the laboratory. They are responsible for performing laboratory tests, analyzing results, and providing results to the pathologist for interpretation. CPAs also assist in the preparation of specimens for analysis, maintain laboratory equipment, and provide technical support to other laboratory personnel.

Detailed Job Description:

Clinical Pathology Assistants are responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures. They must be knowledgeable in the use of laboratory equipment, including microscopes, centrifuges, and other laboratory instruments. CPAs must also be able to accurately interpret test results and provide results to the pathologist for interpretation. In addition, CPAs must be able to prepare specimens for analysis, maintain laboratory equipment, and provide technical support to other laboratory personnel.
