Bachelor’s Degree in Health Information Management

Five years Clinical Documentation Integrity experience

Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Demonstrated broad clinical knowledge base necessary to review a wide variety of medical records

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing OR

Current state Registered Nurse license OR

Manage and track the calibration and preventative maintenance programs

BS or BA and experience or combination of training and experience sufficient to discharge the duties of the position.

Previous experience in working with people in a multi-disciplinary team environment.

Knowledge Sharing - ability to capture knowledge within the organization; improves solutions, processes, and deliverables.

Previous experience in the documentation, operation, maintenance, calibration, and validation of laboratory equipment in a regulated laboratory environment.

Previous experience with FDA, cGMP and GLP regulations as they relate to a controlled laboratory and manufacturing environment.

Collaborates with Case Management leaders, HIM staff and clinical teams routinely as predicated on business need.

In collaboration with facility administrative team, determine content, audience and venue of education

Implements and provides oversight for a Multi-site Clinical Documentation Integrity Program in an organized and standardized manner.

Participates in mentoring and training new clinical documentation Integrity staff.

Establishes effective working relationships with the hospital, Area, Region and Support Center staff.

Facilitates appropriate clinical documentation to support, identify and validate all of the appropriate diagnoses.
