Clinic Billing Coordinator Jobs in Maryland

Submit uncollected accounts to billing manager for collection proceedings.

Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT codes.

Basic knowledge and understanding of medical terminology.

Minimum of one year of medical office billing experience

Answer patient questions about unpaid balances.

Identify incorrect patient demographic information and update so that patient statements can be mailed.

Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

2 - 4 years Administrative/clerical support for mid- to upper-level management, preferably in a healthcare setting (Required)

2 - 4 years Working knowledge of medical terminology (Preferred)

2 year / Associate's Degree (Preferred)

Vocational / Technical Degree (Preferred)

2 - 4 years Proven ability to use independent judgement and function autonomously (Required)
