Ph.D. with six (6) years of relevant experience is strongly preferred.

Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously, creatively problem-solve, prioritize effectively, and produce results under conditions of uncertainty.

Demonstrated experience with managing USG interagency processes and/or designing and managing projects funded by the USG.

Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.

Contribute to external and internal outreach by developing educational materials, written materials for the web, and designing communication plans.

Assist program director in researching and drafting research and educational products.

3+ years professional experience that brings familiarity with a broad range of energy and climate issues and U.S. policy.

Excellent writing and communication skills to contribute to Project research and effectively present information to internal/external stakeholders.

Physical Requirements And Work Conditions

Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with project teams, employees, department management, contractors and consultants in a professional setting.

Perform and manage multiple tasks within scope/budget/schedule expectations and ensure quality standards on project deliverables.

Microsoft Excel proficient, VBA experience a plus.

Strong MS Office computer skills; advanced understanding of PowerPoint, Excel, and Access desired.

3 - 4 years of environmental compliance experience; consulting and permitting experience.

Serve as a technical resource on air quality permitting and compliance programs under NSR, PSD, Title V, state, and local regulations.
