Client Events Director Jobs in California

5-7+ years of qualified event management experience required.

Bachelor’s degree and minimum 10 years of professional work experience as Conference & Event Manager

Ability to interact effectively with executive management and outside vendors

Knowledge of Cvent, Salesforce, social media and event marketing skills

Manage processes for venue site research, RFP cost analysis, hotel and function orders, room setup, rooming list and hotel reservation systems

Manage event department budgets including forecasting, tracking and post-event analysis

Bid management capability, end-to-end proposal writing, pitching and conversion skills.

People management skills, development planning skills and feedback culture.
