Ability to adapt effectively to workplace changes and new job duties and responsibilities.

Performs pre-trip and post-trip responsibilities in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and VSI policies and procedures.

Reset your 34 hour clock at home on weekends.

Minimum of 12 months verifiable tractor/trailer driving experience.

Valid Class A CDL or B CDL with HAZMAT & Airbrake endorsements

Maintain appropriate driver’s license, medical card & endorsements

Must have 1-2 Years of RECENT (within last 3 years) and VERIFIABLE Box Truck delivery experience.

Must Meet ALL DOT Requirements

This position ONLY requires 12 Months of Box Truck Delivery Experience!

Must be 21+ Years of age at the time of applying

Valid and Current Class C License

Must be willing to offload products

2 Years of Verifiable Tractor Trailer Experience

Able to meet all DOT requirements

Thurs – Sun Shift Available. M, Tu, Wed, F Shift Available

6 pm – 4 am

Daytime Shifts available too! ($27 – $28)

Reports any accident immediately to the Transportation Manager/Department.

Basic knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) law and mandates and understanding of UNFI’s safety standards.

System implementation experience is preferred.

Salary: $28/hour + $5,000 Sign-on Bonus, $28.75/hour after one year, $30/hour after two years

Weekend rate is an additional $3.50 per hour, $5.25 for OT

Prior experience using pallet jack or forklift preferred. Ability to obtain certification upon hire is required.

Minimum of one year of work experience required.

Pick up company property from customer locations and collect returns. Secure company assets.

Utilize computer technology to create customer invoices, collect money due, and settle all customer accounts daily.

Provide excellent customer service and meets customer’s expectations through communication, problem resolution, and appropriate follow-up.

Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures including DOT regulations.

Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)

Experienced Foodservice Delivery Preferred - $400 per day

Completes daily record of hours of service and enter in log in accordance with Federal DOT, state, and company requirements.

6+ months commercial driving experience

Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check

1+ years of commercial driving experience

Minimum of 6-months verifiable tractor/trailer driving experience.

If applicant has less than one year of experience a certificate of completion from an accredited CDL training school is required

Dedicated evening delivery routes, Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday,Friday,Saturday

$$300 Per Route; Pay is based on the driver’s daily route assignment.

Valid CDL Class – A operator's license.

Informs store management or personnel of any customer complaints or requests in a timely manner

Must successfully complete all Company training and certification requirements regarding equipment usage, including obtaining McCoy’s forklift certification

Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined by management.

Follows Standard Operating Procedures while carrying out the responsibilities of the position

Can be reason of training, experience, or both, safely operate the type of commercial motor vehicle he/she drives

Is physically qualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle in accordance with FMCSR requirements

Completes daily record of hours of service and enter in log in accordance with Federal DOT, state, and company requirements.
