Coordinate with project managers to ensure that multiple projects with simultaneous deadlines are completed on schedule.

Minimum 1-2+ years of REVIT experience generating and detailing complex drawings for structural projects.

-Must be proficient in Civil 3D 2013 or later.

3-5 years of experience in structural/transportation/civil design drafting.

Experience must include preparing design drawings, plans, sections, and details.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Maintain a minimum: 18 hours of continuing education each year.

Knowledge and Practical use of the Plan and Profile, Grading and Pipe Network tools within Civil 3D.

Preferred Experience: 10 years of Water, Wastewater, Gas, Electric, or Telecom Utility Experience.

Knowledge of surveys, state plane coordinate systems, plant coordinate systems, true north vs plant north, etc.

Knowledge of using point cloud data

Working within AutoCAD and Civil 3D following internal or client driven CADD standards.

Coordinating with design engineers to develop accurate construction drawings.

Adhering to specific quality control procedures.

Developing design drawings utilizing engineering sketches and through conversations.

Complete work according to standard engineering principles and practices and compliance with company standards.

Create and document concepts, sketches, models, layouts, submittals, instructions, and complete design packages.

Follow the supervisor's lead on procedures, calculations, regulatory requirements, and engineering practices.

5 years of experience in the civil engineering field

Experience in civil design for private land development and government projects is required.

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)

Excellent analytical and math skills are a must.

Must have effective written, communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills to be able to work well in teams.
