Overview A Child Care Interventionist is a professional who works with children and families to provide support and guidance in order to improve the quality of life for the child and family. They work with families to identify and address any issues that may be impacting the child’s development, such as mental health, behavioral, or educational issues. They also provide resources and support to families in order to help them create a safe and nurturing environment for their children. Detailed Job Description Child Care Interventionists are responsible for providing support and guidance to families and children in order to improve the quality of life for the child and family. They work with families to identify and address any issues that may be impacting the child’s development, such as mental health, behavioral, or educational issues. They also provide resources and support to families in order to help them create a safe and nurturing environment for their children. They may also provide individual and family counseling, as well as crisis intervention services. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of child development and family dynamics

Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related field
• Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related field preferred
• Licensure or certification in social work, psychology, or a related field preferred
• Previous experience working with children and families

• Knowledge of child development and family dynamics
• Knowledge of community resources
• Knowledge of crisis intervention and counseling techniques
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
Job Experience
• Previous experience working with children and families
• Previous experience in a social work or counseling setting
