Chief Psychiatrist Jobs in New York

Supports clinical staff to provide short-term supportive counseling, case management and appropriate referrals for ongoing treatment.

Supports clinical staff to perform psychiatric evaluations of identified patients.

Develops and implements short-term service plans for patients, in conjunction with other members of the Community Mental Health Programs.

Supports clinical staff to evaluate patients for psychiatric hospitalization, if necessary.

Supports clinical staff to evaluate need for physical evaluations and/or medical services and makes referrals, as indicated.

Assist and collaborates with the Program Coordinator in the overall functioning of the Community Mental Health Programs.
