Good computer skills including literacy with Excel and Word

Conduct qualitative and quantitative testing of beverages, syrups, and raw materials throughout the entire production process.

Analyze syrup beverage and/or water attributes

Audit container rinsers, air blowers, filters, and coders to ensure proper operations.

Conduct package quality inspection and quality audits and isolate product that does not meet standards.

Maintain highest possible housekeeping standards to prevent microbial contamination

Must have comprehensive knowledge of plant operations as they affect quality of product

Must have general knowledge of calculators and computers

Preferred knowledge of all types of equipment used in the manufacturing of cement

Knowledge of hazards associated with areas of responsibility

Must understand Lockout/Tagout procedure and safety requirements

Collect samples of raw materials, fuel and product for quality analysis.

Must have comprehensive knowledge of plant operations as they affect quality of product

Perform incoming quality control on raw materials.

Ability to complete tasks in a goal-oriented manner and take direction to ensure successful completion

1 to 2 years of lab experience.

Have strong math skills and a high level of adaptability to instrument control/software applications (LIMS, Oracle, CHEMstation, MS Office Suite, Etc.)

Trains lower level Lab Technicians on routine analyses.

Helps maintain gas cylinder, chemical and supply inventory lists.

Prepares solutions according to methods.

Communicates clearly with production personnel on special request analyses.
