A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant is responsible for providing rehabilitative services to patients under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. This includes assessing the patient’s needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing direct patient care. COTAs also provide education and support to patients and their families.
