The COTA helps patients to develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working.

Detailed Job Description:

The COTA works with patients to develop, improve, and maintain their ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs) and work-related tasks. This includes helping patients to develop, improve, or restore physical, cognitive, and psychosocial functions. The COTA also assists in the evaluation, treatment, and management of patients with physical, mental, or emotional disabilities. The COTA is responsible for providing direct patient care, including administering therapeutic activities, providing patient education, and developing treatment plans.
