Makes recommendations for students to conduct solo flight, cross-country flight and to receive certification practical tests.

Prepares lesson plans and scheduling, maintains KBFS training folders, and completes required training entries IAW the FAA and school requirements.

Develops and executes tailored flight and classroom training sessions in accordance with the standards outlined in the FAA Flight Instructor Handbook.

High School Diploma or GED.

Proficiency or capable of gaining and maintaining instructor proficiency in various flight training aircraft operated by KBFS.

A minimum of 18 years old.

Manage and monitor all aircrew Crew Endurance status to ensure DCMA 8210.1D, AR 95-20, and 14 CFR Part 91 compliance

Manage all aircraft movement requests to include coordination of PPRs, Aircraft Personnel Automated Clearance System (APACS) requests, and ATO compliance

Two (2) or more years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects.

Able to complete a BD-700 Global Vision Type Certification without restrictions

International experience operating in the NAT HLA

Provide Ground and Flight Training to U.S. Army Personnel

Assist teacher in devising and implementing special strategies for reinforcing skills based on the special needs and abilities of each student.

Completed 48+ semester hours at an Institute of Higher Education or Valid Texas Educational Aide Certificate.

Knowledge of general office equipment, safety equipment, and food service equipment.

3-5 years of previous experience working with children in a classroom setting.

Knowledge of and the ability to assist in instructing reading readiness, writing readiness, and mathematics readiness, as appropriate.

Demonstrate use of productive and efficient skills to raise community and parent involvement.

Assists in the post-operative management of patients. Manages postoperative ventilator support and acute pain management in conjunction with existing protocols.

Certification/Licenses/Registration Required: National Commission for Certification of Anesthesiologist Assistants (NCCAA) certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification.

Evaluate and measure trainee progress and recommend for qualification, or additional training.

If no ATP, must meet the requirements of:

14 CFR part 61.64 without a Supervised Operating Experience (SOE) limitation.

Preferred: FAR Part 135, FAR Part 121, or military training experience;

Knowledge of aviation safety standards and practices

Knowledge of appropriate Federal Aviation Regulations and related administrative and operational procedures and requirements.

Ability to manage multiple students, projects and tasks.

Knowledge of and ability to apply effective instructional techniques in the classroom and in flight.
