Ccbhc Recovery Coach Jobs

Exposure to therapeutic groups and developing core skills to promote clinical growth.

At least 2 years post-high school education; Bachelor’s in Psychology preferred.

At least one year of experience in a mental or behavioral health setting is highly desired (and required in some states).

Key player in integrating and supporting the clients through their recovery journey.

Provide support and intervention consistent with the client’s treatment plan.

Engage clients in developing healthy and appropriate connections with other clients in the milieu and the team.

Experience providing group education, mentoring people individually in self-help and advocacy is necessary.

Knowledge of computer systems and computer operations, proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel. Customer and Engagement skills.

Work in collaboration with team members, managers, directors, and the administrative

Preferred lived experience with substance use and/or mental health.

Knowledge of peer support and strength-based peer practices.

Proficient in oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.

1-2 years’ experience working with others in emotional distress and/or with substance use disorders preferred

Certification as a Peer Specialist preferred

Help clients identify, understand, and combat stigma and discrimination associated with mental illness and develop strategies to reduce self-stigma.
