Knowledge of basic anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology is required.

Strong computer skills required for use of EMR.

Minimum of two years of related patient care experience.

Experience including exposure to cast application and removal.

Takes and records vital signs including blood pressures, temperature, pulse, respiration, weights, height, etc. Collects and transports specimens to appropriate departments

Applies and adjusts orthopedic leg and arm braces, canes and crutches, and prefabricated fracture braces. Instructs patients in gait training.

Require training in vocational schools, related on-the-job experience, or an associate's degree.

Measure, examine, and test completed parts to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications..

Assembling and preparing casting dies/tooling for production.

Make and maintaining complete setups on assigned Die Cast machines and associated equipment.

Maintain high quality of parts produced using established inspection methods and gauging

Perform daily preventative maintenance on machinery and die cast tooling as directed
