Casino Cleaner Jobs

Cleans restrooms multiple times each day, to include floor and fixtures.

Clean all gaming devices, tables, and chairs associated with the casino floor.

Remove trash from the gaming area and clean ash trays.

Clean all associated support areas to include back of the house offices and restrooms as needed.

Complete daily projects in areas of hotel, kitchen or as directed.

Provide restorative services when emergencies arise, to include working alternate hours.

Reports to the ship's Casino Senior Supervisor and does not have supervisory responsibilities

When assigned by the Casino Manager, he / she would take part in the casino cash and coins count

Monitor all players around the table in order to identify their individual playing style and to avoid cheating.

Exchanges casino chips and tokens for money, announces the exchanges and updates clicker counting device to record the cash intake

Must be well groomed, keep presentable personal appearance and follow company guidelines regarding uniforms and personal hygiene

Computer related experience desired including AS400, CMS and/or ACSC systems.

Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills along with good phone etiquette.

Enters data from credit applications and reports into computerized system.

Verifies bank information on credit applications.

Maintains customer credit files with updated information as prompted by computerized system.

Accepts and processes telephone applications.

Routinely inspects work areas, identifying potential problems or repair needs, and notifying management of maintenance to be scheduled.

Properly tags lost and found items and delivery them to management, for storage.

Dusts, sweeps, mops, scrubs, vacuum, and clean assigned areas.

Scrubs, waxes and strips floors, as assigned.

Sweeps stairwells, parking lot, elevators and other areas, and attends to other special projects, as requested.

Cleans rugs, carpets and upholstered furniture and draperies as needed.

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field AND three (3) years’ experience in a Management position

OR Seven (7) years’ experience in a Management position

OR Five (5) years’ experience in a Management position within Resorts World

Oversee all regulatory compliance requirements outlined in New York State gaming regulations.

Eight (8) years’ related revenue audit work experience

Oversee daily casino accounting functions as it pertains to gaming operations. Responsible for gaming documents records retention program.

Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills

Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts

Six (6) months of general cleaning experience

Experience with professional cleaning equipment

Experience in a similar five-star/five-diamond resort environment

Sweeps and removes all wrappers, broken glass, ashtrays, and debris from floor

Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred.

Ensures the use of all cleaning materials, chemicals, and equipment in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

Maintains strict adherence to all OSHA safety rules and regulations.

Interacts with guests and other departments in a professional and courteous manner.

Responsible for Guest safety and satisfaction by ensuring approved standards of cleanliness throughout the casino.

Responsible for advising maintenance of repairs and replacements necessary in assigned areas.
