The caregiver will also be responsible for providing companionship and emotional support to the individual in their care. The caregiver will need to be able to recognize and respond to changes in the individual’s condition and be able to provide appropriate care. The caregiver will also need to be able to provide transportation to medical appointments and other activities as needed.
