Overview A Caregiver 12 Hour Shift is responsible for providing care and assistance to elderly, disabled, or ill individuals in their homes or in residential care facilities. They are responsible for providing physical, emotional, and social support to their clients, as well as helping them with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating. Detailed Job Description A Caregiver 12 Hour Shift is responsible for providing care and assistance to elderly, disabled, or ill individuals in their homes or in residential care facilities. They are responsible for providing physical, emotional, and social support to their clients, as well as helping them with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating. They must also be able to administer medications, monitor vital signs, and provide companionship. They must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Job Skills Required

Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a caregiving role
• Certification in First Aid and CPR
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Knowledge of medical terminology and medications
• Knowledge of basic nutrition and meal preparation
• Knowledge of basic housekeeping and laundry
• Knowledge of basic computer skills
