Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):

High level of closing skills and demonstrated organizational and territory planning/management skills

2-5 years’ proven business to business sales experience

Strong interpersonal, oral, communication, organizational and planning skills

3 or more years experience selling medical capital and diagnostic equipment and disposables

Knowledge of anatomy and physiology of cardiovascular system

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education. i.e. HS/GED diploma plus seven years of experience.

Manages Work (includes Time Management: Effectively manages one’s time and resources to ensure that work is completed efficiently.

Experience: 5 years related administrative or business experience required. Some supervisory experience preferred.

Assists in maintaining and monitoring the budget and grant allocations. Prepares documents required to maintain balanced accounts for review and approval.

Develops, updates and/or revises informational flyers, brochures, leaflets and mailings.

Researches, locates and compiles information for reports. Assembles and categorizes figures for computation and calculations. Prepares statistical reports.

Education, Certification, Computer and Training Requirements:

Identifies the referral and authorization requirements of the patients’ insurance plans by using various on-line resources according to department workflows

Demonstrates knowledge of insurance carrier guidelines, clinical policies, and state guidelines pertaining to referrals and prior authorization

Verifies insurance eligibility and benefits, and updates the patient’s insurance information as necessary

Provides the supervisor and manager with immediate feedback on issues affecting workflow, reimbursement, and customer service.

Anticipates and performs necessary job duties.

Knowledge and understanding of proper billing and reimbursement as it applies to implanted cardiac devices

Adheres to and supports the mission, purpose, philosophy, objectives, policies, and procedures of Tenet Physician Resources.

Adheres to the Tenet HIPAA Compliance Plan and the Privacy Standards Confidentiality Agreement.

Assess and reassess patients with implanted cardiac devices

Provides follow-up for adult and geriatric patients with implanted cardiac devices

Collaborates with other health care providers to assist in the adjustment of plan of care and implement changes as needed

Solid experience in account maintenance and development, negotiation, closing skills, and time management.

Knowledge expert on Epiphany’s Cardio Server and Rhythm Strip Management.

Ability to demonstrate and present Cardio Server modules, Rhythm Strip Management, Analytica, and Cloud Services via web demonstrations.

Collaborate with the Director, ECG Management Solutions regarding strategic sales approaches.

Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.

Knowledgeable in workflow analysis, process improvement, and cost-justification concepts.
