Overview A Captain Pilot is a highly experienced and qualified professional who is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of an aircraft. They are the highest ranking member of the flight crew and are responsible for the overall safety and security of the aircraft and its passengers. Detailed Job Description A Captain Pilot is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of an aircraft. They are the highest ranking member of the flight crew and are responsible for the overall safety and security of the aircraft and its passengers. They are responsible for pre-flight planning, including flight plans, weather reports, and aircraft performance data. During the flight, they are responsible for monitoring the aircraft’s systems, communicating with air traffic control, and making decisions regarding the safety of the flight. After the flight, they are responsible for completing post-flight paperwork and debriefing the crew. Job Skills Required

• Knowledge of aircraft systems and operations

Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in aviation or related field
• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate
• FAA First Class Medical Certificate
• Minimum of 5,000 hours of flight experience
• Extensive knowledge of aviation regulations and procedures
