Overview On Call APRN is a healthcare professional who is available to provide medical care on an as-needed basis. They are typically called upon to provide care in emergency situations, such as when a patient is in need of immediate medical attention. On Call APRNs are also available to provide care for patients who require more specialized care than what is available at a traditional clinic or hospital. Detailed Job Description On Call APRNs are responsible for providing medical care in emergency situations. This includes assessing the patient’s condition, providing medical treatment, and referring the patient to a specialist if necessary. On Call APRNs must be able to make quick decisions and provide prompt medical care. They must also be able to communicate effectively with patients and their families. On Call APRNs are also responsible for providing medical care to patients who require more specialized care than what is available at a traditional clinic or hospital. This includes providing care for patients with chronic illnesses, providing follow-up care for patients who have been discharged from the hospital, and providing care for patients who require more complex medical treatments. Job Skills Required On Call APRNs must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They must be able to quickly assess a patient’s condition and provide appropriate medical care. They must also be able to work well under pressure and make quick decisions. On Call APRNs must also be knowledgeable about the latest medical treatments and procedures.
