Cad Drafter Technician Jobs in Georgia

High school diploma and course work in drafting technology or specialized CAD certification or 1-year relevant drafting experience.

Basic knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office programs, including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by managers.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

Assist with preparing drawings and revising existing engineering drawings of basic components from specific sketches or layouts.

Perform design analysis to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing pipes, fittings, and valves using SolidWorks

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Create 3D models and detailed drawings of pipes, fittings, and valves using SolidWorks

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design accuracy and manufacturability
