Business Combinations Accountant Jobs

Develop financial models and conduct valuations of businesses, assets, and liabilities.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

1-5 years of experience in forensic accounting, financial analysis.

Experience with litigation support preferred

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Maintain and update the Blackbaud Tuition Management system:

Review Post Payment Data from the Blackbaud Tuition Management system and upload data to Financial Edge NXT.

Record all operating deposits either in Blackbaud Tuition Management System or in Financial Edge Database, including processing fees for electronic payments.

Other hours as required and deemed necessary by the Director of Finance & HR and/or Head of School

At least three years of accounting experience to include accounts receivable, accounts payable, general accounting, and administration systems and processes.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage in a collaborative community.

Providing analytical and management support for financial activities related to grants;

Two years or more of accounting and/or higher education experience.

Knowledge of computer based enterprise resource planning systems and a thorough understanding of higher education administration.

Reviewing and monitoring individual grants and transactions for compliance with local, state, and federal fund requirements;

Performing other duties as assigned by the Controller or Vice President for Business and Finance.

A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and two years or more of relevant experience.

Analyze and present financial results, fluxes and trends to management for analysis and review

Calculate cash distributions and coordinate Management approvals

Document conclusions, and present findings to Management

Accurately account for assets and liabilities assumed as part of business combinations

Bachelor’s Degree in finance/Accounting or a related field

1+ years’ experience in accounting, audit or other relevant professional capacity
