ICC (International Code Council) Certifications,

Prior experience (5 years minimum is preferred) in similar positions within municipalities or private companies performing similar tasks,

Principles, methods, and techniques of civil and structural engineering;

City, state, and federal government agency laws and regulations pertaining to Building Codes.

Read and interpret building plans;

Interpret and answer questions regarding building codes and permits;

Self-Management: Showing personal organization, self-discipline, and dependability

You may be able to work from home two days a week

Educational background in architecture or a related field
