Birth To Five Outpatient Therapist Jobs

FORMAL EDUCATION & JOB RELATED EXPERIENCE

Submits required paperwork timely and accurately adhering to departmental volume|productivity requirements.

Supports and enhances the family s ability to interact with their child in their daily routines.

Completes session notes according to departmental rules and records data as appropriate for each child.

Travels in personal vehicle to and from the natural environment of each family assigned.

Maintains ongoing communication with office via email, text and telephone. Responds quickly to any request for information.

Crosswalk TPOT with Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) for best practices in classroom management & positive climate.

Improve self skills and education

Experience in working in an early childhood education program.

Education, training and/or experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

Education, training and/or experience with trauma informed approach, protective factors and behavioral characteristics associated with trauma.

Improve access of children with social emotional concerns and/or disabilities to needed resources within the community.

ABA Experience preferred but not necessary

At least six months to a year of Early Intervention Experience (Preferred)

Provide in-home, telehealth, and community-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy and/or Special Instruction

Evaluates the psychological situation of the patient and family

Evaluates the living condition and patterns of parent-child interaction

Consult with other team members regarding the patient’s progress

The actual salary is dependent on creditable experience above the minimum qualifications for the role

Ability to work with 0-5 population or interest in attending certification training a plus.

Direct work experience providing therapy-based services to children, adolescents and families required

Must have experience and understanding of the clinical diagnostic process and utilization of the DSM-V

Experience working with trauma and attachment issues a plus

Competent in Medi-Cal documentation requirements.
