Installation, commissioning, and set-up of analyser equipment.

Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system (preferred)

Three years’ experience in developing processes in a manufacturing environment.

Strong computer skills: Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and MS Project

Excellent presentation skills and ability to influence decisions through technical discussion

Knowledge of LECTRA or other design software for 3D upholstery pattern development (preferred)

Define processes and methods to drive the efficient use of 3D data within the facility

Designing, developing, testing and modifying and optimizing medical products, equipment and devices,

Develops plans for research under the direction of Bioengineering Supervisor.

Collects data utilizing library archives, technical journals, reference sources, internet sites, and other information sources.

Researches and develops products such as reagents, reagent systems, and biological controls in addition to instrument system development.

Prepares reports of completed projects for publication in technical journals for use in further applied or theoretical research activities.

Performs analysis on experimental data, appropriately documenting results and conclusions.

Collaborates with design engineers, project leaders, and other personnel to identify, define, and solve problems during development, testing, and support phases.

Experience in clinical chemistry and applications knowledge.

Building and maintaining extensive knowledge of Randox analysers and associated equipment.

A relevant Engineering Qualification or equivalent accredited apprenticeship.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Experience in engineering and computer software.

Routine servicing and preventative maintenance of analysers and associated equipment in the field.

Performs professional engineering and scientific program management to enrich practices, techniques, and knowledge in the medical and biological sciences.

High School Diploma or General Education Develompment (GED)

Perform pre-issue and asset accounting, equipment installation and de-installation of related equipment as needed.

Performs scheduled and unscheduled inspections, maintenance and electrical safety tests of biomedical equipment where applicable to maintain code compliance.

Responsible for documenting the results of all inspections, maintenance and tests.

Individual is required to complete applicable documentation of all work performed, in a timely manner.

Frequent travel will be required for the Shared Services/Support biomed engineers to provide service support.

Must have effective communication skills, both oral and written.

Must have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Repairs, tests, and calibrates medical equipment according to OEM recommendations.
