Minimum of 2 years of experience in an AZA-accredited zoo or aquarium setting, including training, enrichment, and/or other behavior-specific work.

In this role, you will report to the Zoological Manager of Behavioral Husbandry.

As the Behavior Analyst, in partnership with the Behavioral Husbandry Zoological Managers, you will:

Knowledge of behavior management strategies and consultation skills

Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal mandates, as they apply to special education.

Valid Certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or meets eligibility for certification (must

3+ years progressive experience conducting ABA therapy or applying techniques in applied behavior

5+ years’ experience in conducting ABA therapy or applying techniques in applied behavior analysis in a

Knowledge of, or willingness to acquire knowledge of Multi-Tiered Interventions of Support

Support animal care teams and other partners in following the BH vision, mission, philosophy, and commitments.

Maintain effective communications and relationships between the animal care teams and BH.

Starting pay $16.50 + We pay for experience!

Must have six months of full-time experience working with behavioral challenges and/or individuals identifying with the DD/ID population.
