Manages leftover foods correctly; cover, label, date, and accurately store according to Aramark standards.

Knowledge of food prep, proper knife handling, temperature control, and sanitation is helpful.

Demonstrates basic math and counting skills

Prepares all food items using prep lists and standard Aramark recipes.

Follows proper food handling procedures.

Maintains accurate rotation of food to assure top quality and freshness.

Manages leftover foods correctly; cover, label, date, and accurately store according to Aramark standards.

2-year experience in institutional food preparation

Experience in high volume food service production

Safe Staff or ServSafe Certification

Washing and sanitizing plates, utensils, and trays for school snacks and lunch

Prepping food for snacks and lunch

Picking/dropping off food trays to classrooms

Keeping a clean and organized dishwashing station

Ensuring all chemicals are utilized properly and in the correct quantities

Assisting team with light cleaning duties during downtime

Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.

Knowledge of cleaning equipment, products, techniques and standards.

Skill in using cleaning products and equipment.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.

Prior experience with Food Service.

Must take appropriate Food Service Training to meet state requirements.
