Autonomous Vehicle Test Engineer Jobs

Monitors testing equipment, devices and software to ensure these meet all aspects of testing and reporting requirements.

Identifies and addresses potential safety risks and abides by, promotes and acknowledges all safety practices aimed at maintain high safety standards.

Brief and de-brief of driving behavior to the Autonomous Vehicle and related testing responsibilities.

3-5 years of experience operating a vehicle with a clean driving record

2 years of employment experience

Basic technical knowledge of complete vehicle components and functions

Must demonstrate professional behavior at all times when dealing with customers, management and co-workers.

Must possess strong computer skills in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Prior emission vehicle chassis roll experience

BRIEF OUTLINE OF SPECIFIC ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Unusual or Special Physical Requirements of Position

Involved in the performance of testing of full vehicles on chassis rolls, and evaporative emission testing. Includes:

Create V&V plans based on product requirements to thoroughly test autonomy software in simulation and on-vehicle.

2+ years of experience creating and executing test plans for software and hardware systems.

Previous experience in V&V at an autonomous vehicle company.

Previous experience testing large vehicles in defense, mining, construction, or agriculture

Create and maintain simulation test scenarios using Applied's tools.

Create and maintain system tests as part of routine system assessments and continuous integration.
