Automatic Press Operator Jobs in Indiana

Must have at least 2 year's experience in running Metal press machines

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts desired

First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm )

Running multiple machines: sizer, presses, rollers, spot welder, laser etch, pin stamp, brake press

Set up, operate, or tend machines to inspect, cut, shear, slit, punch, crimp, notch, bend, or straighten metal.

Quality checks during each production run to ensure product is set to standards

Experience as a machine operator required

First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm )

Associates will be responsible for performing light assembly, machining, or packaging of manufactured products

Non-smoking facility. Associates may leave the property during lunch.

Able to lift 50 pounds

Applicant may be subject to a background check

Basic math skills to read ruler and calculate label dimensions for stock optimization

Experience in a production related environment

High school education or equivalent

9:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday - Thursday with overtime as required.

Carry out accurately and precisely detailed instructions from job orders. Identify possible errors or problems and take prompt action to correct.

Set up/adjust press for job runs to meet specifications.
