Autocad Designer Drafter Jobs in Illinois

Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements, objectives and design specifications

Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, drafting or a related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute for formal education

Effective communication skills to interact with team members, project managers and other stakeholders

Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure clear understanding of design intent and requirements

Previous experience in architectural or related construction disciplines is a plus

Problem-solving skills to address design challenges and create efficient solutions

Previous experience in curb roofing design or related construction disciplines is a plus

Complies with FCAD quality management system

Performs data entry from drawings and load sheets into manufacturing system.

Basic Microsoft Excel experience is required, will need to use this when working in spreadsheets and updating BOM's.

Looking for some experience with mechanical drafting or design, these are mechanical components

Huge bonus would be AutoCAD experience.

Working knowledge of Creo and AutoCAD mechanical design and drafting.
