Autocad Assistant Jobs

Minimum of two years of experience supporting similar key position responsibilities.

Work with Project Managers to enhance reporting using AutoCAD/BIM.

Knowledge of computer systems and the interface with AUTOCAD/BIM

Survey drafting and calculating experience, a plus

Extensive knowledge of standard AUTOCAD/BIM practices, techniques, and procedures

Develop models for various buildings projects and maintain compliance with company and client standards.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with team members

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

2+ years experience with Carlson Civil and Autocad

Perform job take offs for bidding purposes utilizing Carlson Civil, AutoCad and bluebeam

Create GPS files for grading machines using Trimble and Trimble business center

Create As built drawings and BIM files from surveyor field collected shots

Manages effective document control mechanisms for the project to ensure that work is performed in accordance with contract documents.

This is a full-time position. Occasional overtime may be required as job duties demand.

One (1) to three (3) years related experience preferred.

Strong computer and communication skills required.

Develops a full understanding of the scope and interdependence of all contract documents.

Evaluates submittals of shop drawings and material data.

Jurisdictional Knowledge: Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations related to land development and stormwater management.

Civil3D Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Civil3D software for site design and modeling.

Adaptability: Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies, methodologies, and project requirements.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to work.

Hydrology and Low Impact Development Reports

Professionalism: Demonstrated commitment to ethical conduct, professionalism, and delivering high-quality work.

Require a minimum of 2-years’ experience in Drafting Building’s framing plans and details in AutoCAD software, 219 or newer version.

2 Year to 4 Year degree, or comparable work experience

2 years of drafting experience

2 years of project coordination experience is a plus

Professional verbal and written skills

Software estimating is a plus

Cabinet fabrication, Google Sketch Up and QuickBooks software a Plus.
