Inspecting all used laundry for stains and tears before washing

Pre-treating all stains and washing and drying all linen

Folding all clean laundry as instructed

Completing or assisting with monthly linen inventories

Maintaining a clean and organized laundry room

Stocking storage areas and housekeeping carts with clean, folded linen

Use skills to maintain health and safety of the residents and staff

No experience needed will get paid to train

Stand, walk, bend, kneel, lift, grasp, stretch, and use a washer and dryer on a regular and extended basis

Wash all linen including sheets, washcloths, hand towels, rags, robes, etc.

Experience & Education or skills required:

Ability to run laundry machines with proper loads and settings.

Preference for routine, repetitive activities

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred (not required)

Check that all cleaning supplies are stocked and notify the general manager if any are running low

Verify that all laundry equipment is in good working order and alert the facilities manager of any repair needs

Experience with a variety of commercial cleaning products and techniques

Inspect all linens to identify stains and remove stains with appropriate cleaning products and techniques

Take out the clothes and linens after washing and dry them following the manufacturer's recommendations

Deliver Laundry and Clothing to guestrooms. Position requires excellent guest service skills and availability to work a

flexible schedule. Respond promptly to requests from guests, Front Desk, or At Your Service requests. Monitor the

cleanliness and appearance of laundry/dry cleaning. Complete all valet tickets properly to provide proper handling.

Coordinate all repairs to appropriate persons and pick-up for delivery when completed.
