Overview The Athletics Media Relations Coordinator is responsible for managing the media relations activities for an athletic department. This includes developing and implementing strategies to promote the department’s teams and athletes, as well as coordinating media coverage of events. The Athletics Media Relations Coordinator must have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a thorough understanding of the media landscape. Detailed Job Description The Athletics Media Relations Coordinator is responsible for developing and executing media relations strategies for the athletic department. This includes creating press releases, managing media inquiries, and coordinating media coverage of events. The Athletics Media Relations Coordinator must have a thorough understanding of the media landscape and be able to effectively communicate with media outlets.
