Associate Welder Jobs

1-2 years of related experience and certification in welding or equivalent is preferred.

Uses specified welding equipment to assist and support manufacturing operations of parts and assemblies as required to meet regulatory requirements.

Employees are expected to have good written and verbal communication skills, as well as be competent in the use of computers.

High School diploma or equivalent is required and a minimum of 6 months of experience.

Under direct supervision with an assigned mentor or coach, performs standard operations specifically used in the welding process.

This can include welding, braze and prep, post braze clean up, final clean up, labeling, cutting, and hard facing.

One-year related manufacturing experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and training in a production welding environment required

Simpson Strong-Tie Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Certification (will certify at hire) preferred.

Technical: working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Simpson computer applications.

One-year certificate from college or technical school preferred.

Safety: consistently exemplify the highest of safety standards and monitor others to the same standards.

Attendance: able to consistently demonstrate reliable, punctual attendance
