An Associate Mission Payload Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and testing mission payloads for spacecraft. They work with a variety of teams to ensure that the payloads are designed and built to meet mission requirements. They also provide technical support to mission teams and other stakeholders. They must be able to analyze mission requirements and develop payloads that meet those requirements. They must be able to design and develop payloads that are compatible with the spacecraft and its mission. They must be able to test payloads to ensure that they meet mission requirements. They must be able to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the development and testing of payloads.
