Overview The Associate VB Claims Specialist is responsible for providing support to the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) in the processing of Veterans’ claims. This includes providing assistance to Veterans in filing claims, researching and gathering evidence, and preparing claims for adjudication. Detailed Job Description The Associate VB Claims Specialist is responsible for providing support to the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) in the processing of Veterans’ claims. This includes providing assistance to Veterans in filing claims, researching and gathering evidence, and preparing claims for adjudication. The Associate VB Claims Specialist will also be responsible for providing technical assistance to Veterans and their families in understanding the claims process and the benefits available to them. The Associate VB Claims Specialist will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and filing documents in accordance with VBA regulations. Job Skills Required
• Knowledge of Veterans’ benefits and the claims process
• Ability to research and analyze complex information
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• At least two years of experience in a related field
• Knowledge of Veterans’ benefits and the claims process
• Ability to research and analyze complex information
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills
