Assistant Project Manager Intern Jobs

Proven project management experience and/or demonstrated knowledge in project management concepts/processes

Assist program management team with providing guidance and leadership through definition of clear project objectives, requirements, timelines and milestones

Prepare reports based on findings and present reports to peers and management

Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain Management, or a related technical discipline

Design &/or improve business processes, tools or systems utilizing and applying knowledge of engineering principles

Work with program managers on complex projects across multiple functional areas, managing ongoing action items while tracking and reporting progress

Knowledge of project and resource management tools; experience with Agile Lifecycle Management software a plus

Strong interest in project management experience overseeing technology projects

Strong project management skills, including planning and execution

Data Entry of key materials

Understand and interested in Agile Methodology - such as Scrum - including strong working knowledge of:

Have strong verbal and written communication as well as analytical and organizational skills.

Experience with Geospatial Information Systems (GIS)/modeling/mapping tools.

Work is performed in a remote office environment. May work remotely anywhere in California.

Must be a California resident.

Self-driven and independently motivated; can balance multiple projects at once and meet deadlines.

Ideal candidates should be pursuing, or completing, a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields

Perform routine aspects of engineering requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering principles.

Strong written and oral communication skills

Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of products including Outlook, Word and Excel

Experience with PDF editing software.

Assisting in the coordination of projects from inception through completion.
