Overview The Assistant Construction Superintendent is responsible for assisting the Construction Superintendent in the management of construction projects. This includes ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget, while adhering to safety standards and quality control. Detailed Job Description The Assistant Construction Superintendent is responsible for assisting the Construction Superintendent in the management of construction projects. This includes overseeing the day-to-day operations of the project, ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with the project plans and specifications, and that safety standards and quality control are maintained. The Assistant Construction Superintendent will also be responsible for coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and other personnel to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and within budget. Job Skills Required
• Knowledge of construction processes, procedures, and safety standards
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other construction documents
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in the construction industry
• OSHA 10-hour certification
• Valid driver’s license
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of construction processes, procedures, and safety standards
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other construction documents
• Understanding of local building codes and regulations
• Knowledge of construction scheduling and budgeting
Job Experience
• 5+ years of experience in the construction industry
• Experience in managing construction projects
• Experience in working with subcontractors and suppliers
Job Responsibilities
• Assist the Construction Superintendent in the management of construction projects
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the project
• Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with the project plans and specifications

• Monitor safety standards and quality control
• Prepare and submit progress reports to the Construction Superintendent
• Maintain accurate records of all project activities
