Asphalt Quality Control Technician Jobs in Ohio

Report results to Production management for quality improvement.

Learn to complete all necessary documentation/record keeping requirements for PennDOT, PA Turnpike, and NESL.

Coordinate any issues or specifications with supervisors or managers.

Collect, record, and process any material certifications required for products.

At the end of 18 months the applicant must have passed their PDOT NECEPT aggregate certification.

Educational experience in analytical, chemical, biological or food sciences

Support regulatory, certification, and customer audits.

Experience with documenting data and performing analytical calculations.

Verify incoming and finished product conformance to internal company standards and customer specifications per company procedures including:

Verification of Food Safety and Quality processes (SOP's, SSOP's, GMPs)

Work closely with all management and production personnel.

Conform to all safety, quality requirements, and procedures.

Must have basic Math, English (verbal & written) and some computer skills.

Must have a good understanding of the following skills, or be pursuing them through training:

Auditing skills for systems, products, and processes.

Perform special projects as assigned by the Quality Supervisor.

1-3 years of safety experience (safety committee, OSHA 10/30, etc.).

Knowledge of utility depths and placements.

Effectively lead drilling teams to ensure employees have the necessary resources and knowledge to operate machines.

Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.

OSHA 10 Hour Construction and/or 30 Hour Construction a plus. Will train the right individual.

MISS Dig RTE Training a plus. Will train the right individual.

Identify and become familiar with various mix specifications requirements.

Input test result data into computers in laboratories and remote locations

Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required.
