Applied Scientist Iii Jobs

Support customers sampling of new products and setting quality specs that align with customer requirements.

Maintaining up to date knowledge of technical trends of semiconductor industry to develop intellectual properties.

Experience with and continuing commitment to reading and understanding scientific and patent literature is required.

Technical service experience working with external customers with a track record of success preferred.

Must have excellent communication skills, including presentation skills to deal with internal and external customers

Ability to handle multiple projects, customer and other responsibilities in a timely manner.

Prepare grant submissions to obtain research funding. Minimum Qualifications:

English and Spanish fluency is required. Preferred Qualifications:

At least 5 years’ combined experience in quantitative and qualitative research methods preferred.

At least 5 years’ experience conducting research on community-based interventions preferred.

At least 3 years’ experience with STATA, Atlas.Ti, or other statistical and qualitative software for data analysis preferred.

At least 5 years' experience in suicide prevention and intervention

Generally Monday-Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm with additional hours as required by season

3+ years of building machine learning models for business application experience

PhD, or Master's degree and 6+ years of applied research experience

Knowledge of programming languages such as C/C++, Python, Java or Perl

Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language

Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning

Experience with modeling tools such as R, scikit-learn, Spark MLLib, MxNet, Tensorflow, numpy, scipy etc.
